Notes
This match is one of most controversial in football's history.
After peruvian's fourth goal, crowd invaded pitch and the referee ended the game. Austria filed a complaint and FIFA decided that a new match should be played. In protest, Peru team did not show up for the new match and Austria advanced to next round. It is popularly believed that the Nazi authorities might have had some involvement in this situation.
